CES 2017: LG presented the thinnest 4K TV

CES 2017 brings us the thinnest 4K TV from the LG company, presenting its creation during this day in Las Vegas. We are of course talking about a suite of new 4K OLED televisions, the great novelty brought by them for CES 2017 being the extremely reduced thickness that the LG company managed to obtain for them.

More precisely, for models with 65-inch screens, the screen of LG's 4K TVs is only 2.57 millimeters thick, and they are also available in a version with 77-inch screens. With a weight of 7.7 KG, these 4K HDR OLED TVs from LG appear to be a true engineering marvel, since they withstand being mounted on a wall.

The "magic" behind LG's creation lies in the fact that its OLED screens do not need as much lighting to work, so they are thinner. Moreover, the internal components are stored in a box that is placed at the base of the TV, so it is necessary for the entire 4K LG TV to work.

Apart from the substantial reduction in the thickness of the case, those from LG managed to implement support for multiple types of HDR, Dolby Vision and HLG. Practically, LG has created exceptional televisions from multiple points of view and they will definitely have reasonable prices, although the people from LG did not announce them at CES 2017, but they will soon.
