Digi Mobil announced at the beginning of this year that it managed to convince 1 million Romanians to connect to its network over the years. We are talking about 1 million customers who left Telekom, Orange and Vodafone and chose Digi Mobil over the years, but it is difficult to say how many have remained in the network, because Digi Mobil has not disclosed the retention rate.
Even so, we are talking about 1 million customers who are most likely fed up with the high prices demanded for subscriptions by Orange, Vodafone and Telekom. If we are to be honest, Digi Mobil is not chosen for the quality of its services, but only because it offers extremely cheap services, something that many people are looking for at the moment.
Digi Mobil has invested a lot of money in improving the network infrastructure in Romania, and this despite still having an agreement with Vodafone to use the national network. The more than 1 million customers who have connected to the Digi Mobil network enjoy very low prices for services, but also quality according to the prices paid to the operator.
Digi Mobil – 1 million customers ported to the network
Digi Mobil is one of the 4 big mobile phone operators in Romania, but among them it has the lowest 2G/3G/4G coverage for our country. Even so, he managed to attract many customers from the competition, so many that he forced the latter to seriously reduce their prices for the subscriptions offered to the general public.
Although Digi Mobil does not have the best quality of services, the operator must still be praised for having managed to substantially reduce the prices of telecom subscriptions in Romania. If Digi Mobil had not offered cheap services and had not attracted so many customers from the competition, the prices would not have dropped so much, approaching those of Digi Mobil.
Considering the success in recent years, it is easy to guess that Digi Mobil will continue its strategy to attract more customers to its own network.
