The company is currently testing a new chip called "Tristar 3, Hydra", which controls charging through the Lightning port, and it would be found in the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7S.
Not much is known about this fast charging system that will be offered in the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7S, but it is clear that it will not be compatible with the various systems available on the market. The company will develop a proprietary system for iPhone 8 and iPhone 7S, so we will need its accessories to enjoy the fast charging system in the terminals.

The second function that we would see exclusively in iPhone 8 is called Tap To Wake, that is, we will be able to touch the screen to display notifications from the LockScreen. It seems that Apple will offer this function exclusively for the iPhone 8 and there is no clear explanation for the decision, but the use of an OLED screen could be the main reason for the choice.
At the moment, many Android terminals, even the cheap ones, have implemented the Tap To Wake function, so offering it only for the iPhone 8 is not based on reasons related to the price. Of course, Apple can decide to offer this Tap To Wake function for everyone in iOS 11, but on the other hand, it also needs something attractive for iPhone 8.
