MacBook Pro 2016 no longer has problems with battery autonomy

A few weeks ago, the well-known American publication Consumer Reports refused to recommend the MacBook Pro 2016 due to the low battery life. The Apple company was not satisfied with the tests done by the publication, so it worked with it to discover possible problems with the macOS operating system.

After analyzing the logs from Consumer Reports, the Apple company discovered that there is a bug in the Safari browser, which has been fixed so that the tests can be resumed. Well, Consumer Reports resumed the tests and after them came to the conclusion that MacBook Pro 2016 has a good autonomy and implicitly decided to recommend the product for purchase.

Three models of MacBook Pro 2016 were tested by those from Consumer Reports, and all models obtained good autonomy in these tests. More precisely, the 13-inch Macbook Pro without Touch Bar obtained an average autonomy of 18.75 hours, the one with Touch Bar obtained an average autonomy of 15.25 hours, and the 15-inch one with Touch Bar obtained an average autonomy of 17.25 hours.

All these results are much higher than those promised by the Apple company for the autonomy of the MacBook Pro 2016, even almost double. Under these conditions, not recommending MacBook Pro 2016 would be a mistake, and those from Consumer Reports recommend the product, which also has an extremely good autonomy, so there are no reasons for it to be avoided.
