MacBook 12 inch keys lock after moderate use

If you're wondering what kind of problems Apple products can have, well today I'm talking about those of the 12 inch MacBook. More precisely, it seems that the keys of the keyboard used by the Apple company get stuck after a not very long period of use, in some cases it is necessary to completely replace the laptop to solve the problem.

Some of the people who encountered this problem managed to clean any dirt under the keys using compressed air, but others did not succeed. Directly under the MacBook 12 inch keyboard is the battery, so it is not recommended to use sharp objects for cleaning, but only compressed air, otherwise the battery can be jammed and the laptop will catch fire.

Some of those who managed to replace their 12-inch MacBook under warranty found themselves with replacement units that have the exact same defect after a few days of use. Considering that those units should have been new, we are most likely talking about a manufacturing defect and not about how users use their laptops on a daily basis.

While it's perfectly understandable why some keys might get stuck if various kinds of messes happen to get under them, this shouldn't happen with the replacement units. For a product that Apple promotes as being "light years away from the competition", and for which it asks 1300 euros, the problem is an embarrassing one.

"I had a stuck return key after owning the computer for 2 weeks. I brought it in. They sent it back to apple to get fixed and they replaced the whole keyboard. I also had problems with the wifi so they replaced the logic board too. I picked it up this past Friday. By Sunday, the Tab key is now sticking.

First it was the right return key that was sticking. I took it to the Apple store where the tech tried to brush any crumbs away. He said the battery was right under that key and so he couldn't use anything that might puncture the battery."
