Tim Cook sold another 40.000 Apple shares

Shortly before and after the presentation of Apple's financial results, Tim Cook decided to sell no less than 40.000 shares he owns in the company he leads. We are talking about the fourth sale of shares made by Tim Cook in the last two weeks, this time he collected no less than 5 million dollars based on the transaction.

On Monday Tim Cook sold 10.000 shares at a value of $120.93 per share, on Tuesday he sold another 10.000 shares at a value of $121.03 per share. On Thursday, Tim Cook sold another 15.000 shares at $127.01 per share, plus another 5000 shares at $130 per share, for a total of $5 million.

In total, in the last two weeks, Tim Cook sold 130.000 Apple shares, which have a total value of almost 16 million dollars. Everything could be done from a plan previously established by Tim Cook to obtain income from these actions and would not be related to a possible negative evolution of Apple in the future.

Although Q4 2016 was one of the records for the Apple company, during 2016 Apple had lower revenues and profit than during 2015. In this idea, Tim Cook had lower income due to the weaker evolution of the company which he leads, but he supplemented his deficits by selling shares.
