YouTube TV was officially launched yesterday by the YouTube company and we are talking about an online service that will provide access to a variety of TV stations. Basically, YouTube TV is an online TV subscription for over 30 US television stations, with the company asking for $35 a month to access it.
YouTube TV managed to convince very large television stations such as ABC, CBS, Fox or NBC to participate in this service, so they will be able to be accessed online through YouTube. The new YouTube TV service will be available as a separate application that the American company will launch this year, separate from YouTube RED, launched last year.
YouTube TV will be available on any kind of mobile or desktop platforms, but the company expects that most users will view the content on mobile terminals. Although YouTube TV starts with 30 stations for now, the subscription will be extended in the future to include other American channels, but it remains to be seen who will participate.
