Facebook is announcing the arrival of spring directly in the News Feed as part of a campaign designed to display "seasonal greetings" for changing seasons and important events. You can see in the image below what the notification banner that the Facebook application displays in the News Feed looks like when users access it.
We are talking about an image with two birds and a message that is meant to "officially" announce the fact that spring has arrived and that we must enjoy it. Those from Facebook started this campaign last winter with a similar message displayed in the News Feed at the time of the winter solstice, and now they are doing it again.
The spring equinox is today, and those from Facebook thought to mark the event with the message you can see in the image below. How many people are impressed by this is hard to say, but many Facebook users saw the message in the News Feed when they accessed it for the first time today.
