Microsoft Surface is better than iPad, according to Americans

For the first time in many years, the Microsoft Surface tablets from those in Redmond are presented as being preferred by customers over Apple's iPad tablets. We are talking about a study carried out by those from JD Power, who have always presented Apple products as the best among mobile terminals sold in the USA.

Well, things are changing, and this is the first time that Microsoft tablets occupy the first position in the list made by JD Power in the USA. Microsoft Surface tablets scored 855 points out of a possible 1000 and occupied the first position, while Apple tablets obtained 849 points out of a possible 1000, so slightly below Microsoft products.

JD Power did a study in which it asked customers to rate their own tablets according to: performance, ease of use, the functions they offer, the design they have and the purchase cost. 2238 tablet owners from the US participated in this study, the main condition for participation being that they have owned a tablet for at least a year.

According to JD Power, Microsoft's tablets got the most points for the desk they have, but also for the functions that the American company has integrated into them. The variety of pre-installed applications, the good connectivity to the Internet and the large number of accessories that enhance the functionality also contributed to the high score that Microsoft obtained.

It is interesting that the Microsoft Surface tablets obtained more points than the iPad in terms of the quality of the materials used, the size of the tablet itself, or the quality of the design to motivate the purchase. Microsoft customers are generally people who own a tablet to pass the time and place great emphasis on productivity, in contrast to the majority who use tablets for browsing the Internet or email.

"The Microsoft Surface platform has expanded what tablets can do, and it sets the bar for customer satisfaction. These tablet devices are just as capable as many laptops, yet they can still function as standard tablets. This versatility is central to their appeal and success."

The results of this study are not at all good for the Apple company and show that in Cupertino there are no more people who know what tablet users want, and this has been happening for several years now.
