We are talking here about functions and features that the iPhone terminals do not have in relation to competing terminals, the Apple company intending to make the iPhone 8 a truly impressive smartphone.
To begin with, the iPhone 8 will include an OLED screen and will be behind Samsung, which has been using such screens for years in its products. In recent years, those from Samsung have implemented better and better OLED screens in their own smartphones, and with the Samsung Galaxy S8 they managed to make the best screen ever implemented in a smartphone, the iPhone 8 having a lot to recover.
Although the iPhone 7 has the best LCD screen ever implemented in a smartphone, the iPhone 8 must have the best screen ever implemented in a smartphone to even match the Samsung Galaxy S8. Apple has always boasted about the screens implemented in the iPhone series, but in 2017 with the iPhone 8, it has to do real miracles to succeed in equaling the Samsung company.

iPhone 8 could still have a serious advantage over competitors by implementing 3D cameras capable of creating images with depth effects, but this technology is not safe to use. Practically, many of the iPhone 8 novelties, including the glass case, are not new to the smartphone world, but represent an attempt by Apple to catch up with its competition.
