iPhone 8 – sketch showing the new design

iPhone 8 is presented in all its splendor by a sketch that reveals the new design that the terminal will have after launch.

The iPhone 8 is presented today in a new sketch provided by an Asian source, trying to show us in advance how the future Apple smartphone should look. This is the third sketch that has appeared in recent days to present the new iPhone 8 design, apparently stolen from Foxconn factories, or from factories of other Cupertino company partners.

After months of rumours, rumors and more rumours, this time we have the first information on the new iPhone 8 design, and the details are not that great. For starters, it is confirmed that the iPhone 8 will have a 5.8-inch screen that covers a good part of the front panel, but not all, as has been speculated until now, with an edge being left between the screen and the case.

In the image below you can see that the iPhone 8 will have a 2.5mm margin on the left side between the screen and the case, so the screen will not cover the entire front panel until after the edges, as is the case with the Samsung Galaxy S8. It is strange that on the right side of the front panel of the iPhone 8 there will be a margin of 4 mm between the screen and the case, the difference being unusual for an Apple product.

Moving on, the iPhone 8 will have a length of 137.5mm and a width of 67.5mm, this sketch showing us that the terminal will have the same dimensions as the iPhone 7, as some rumors said. A sketch that appeared last week still presented a different iPhone 8 design than what we see now, and that's because we're probably seeing sketches for different prototypes from the Apple company.

Leaving the dimensions aside, you can see in the upper center that we will have the sensors and cameras that the iPhone 8 will have, thanks to Apple. According to this sketch, the iPhone 8 will have two 3D cameras, sensors for ambient light and proximity, a speaker, a microphone and a front camera in the upper central part of the front panel, most likely outside the screen.

Although the concept images based on this sketch of the iPhone 8 show a different situation, it is impossible for Apple to integrate them all under the screen, so don't expect that. Of course, these sketches also show us that the iPhone 8 will not have a physical Home button integrated into the screen, it will be a virtual one, with a part of the screen specifically dedicated to its display, but it remains to be seen how everything will be organized.

Having said that, what do you think about the iPhone 8 design presented by this sketch?
