Apple could launch credit cards for Apple Pay

Apple Pay will occupy a much more important role in Apple's plans for iPhone development in the coming years, and this suggests that the service could be expanded to more countries. To begin with, those from Apple want to launch a payment system between customers, similar to that of Venmo or Square, where they can quickly transfer money between them.

Apple would like to announce this new system during this year, but everything depends on the discussions it will have with various partners for its launch. In this idea, the Apple company would like to launch virtual Visa credit cards for its customers, their existence facilitating the extremely fast transfer of money between all kinds of people.

The credit cards would work through Apple Pay, so one cannot exist without the other, those from Apple being an intermediary between the payments made by customers. The system would work exactly like any kind of normal credit card, but those from Apple would manage and pay the money sent until it is collected from the customers.

Apple has been thinking of offering this service since last year, but unfortunately it didn't work for reasons that are not yet known to us. The company has had the idea since 2014, when it launched Apple Pay, but it seems that it is barely close to completing its plans in one way or another, but only in some of the countries where Apple Pay is available.

Now of course you are wondering when Apple Pay will be launched in Romania, but no one has an answer for this dilemma.

"Apple has also recently held discussions with Visa about creating its own pre-paid cards that would run on the Visa debit network and which would be tied to the new peer-to-peer service. People would be able to use the Apple cards to spend money sent to them through the new service, without having to wait for it to clear to their bank account. Users could then add the debit card, which may only come in a digital form, to their Apple Pay digital wallet to use for tap-and-pay purchases at brick-and-mortar stores. The card number could also be used to make purchases on websites and in apps.'
