Apple invests aggressively in the development of Macs

The Apple company is seriously investing in the development of new Mac models at the moment, the plans of those from Cupertino being revealed even by Tim Cook. The president of Apple stated that the sales of Macs were very good in the first quarter of 2017, they increased slightly compared to the same period last year, to the amazement of many.

Even though at the end of last year Apple launched new MacBook Pro models, those from Cupertino continue to invest "aggressively" in the development of new products. The revenue generated by Macs increased by 14% in Q1 2017 compared to the same period last year, and this is mainly thanks to the interest generated by the new MacBook Pro models.

Considering that Apple still finds many customers for its laptops, it is normal for it to focus very seriously on the development of new products. It is not yet known what news these future Mac models will bring, but we are probably talking about attractive functions for a wide range of customers from all over the world.

Although Apple is seriously thinking about how to make Macs more attractive, it still has serious competition from competitors in the PC world. Those from Microsoft recently announced the launch of Windows 10S and the Surface Laptop, and Apple will have big problems with its products.

"Revenue grew 14 percent to a new March quarter record and gained market share thanks to strong demand for our new MacBook Pros. Our Mac business has generated over $25 billion in revenue over the past four quarters. We're investing aggressively in its future and we are very excited about the innovation we can bring to the platform."
