OnePlus 5 comes to our attention again today thanks to a new image that shows what appears to be a prototype created by the Chinese company with a view to launching it on global markets. We already know that OnePlus 5 is the final name of the smartphone that will be launched in the summer, but in the last few days we have seen more and more images that show us different designs for the new terminal.
Among everything that has been presented so far, today we see a new alleged prototype that shows us how much the OnePlus 5 could resemble the iPhone 7 Plus this year. In the image below we see again that a OnePlus 5 terminal with antennas that surround the edges was in development at the OnePlus company, the whole aspect of the case closely resembles that of the iPhone 7 Plus.
The main part of the camera of the supposed prototype of the OnePlus 5 looks very similar to that of the iPhone 7 Plus, but in the image we see that the flash LED has a different position, the microphone does not have a different location. I would like to believe that the image is not that of an iPhone 7 Plus over which some changes have been made with the OnePlus logo to show us an alleged prototype of the OnePlus 5, but things seem to be like that.
OnePlus 5 – the prototype that looks like the iPhone 7 Plus
The OnePlus 5 will have some very similar hardware features to those of the iPhone 7 Plus, but it seems that the two products will also be similar in terms of design. I already told you that in the past OnePlus copied some design elements of the iPhone to make their terminals popular, and in the case of the OnePlus 5 things could be the same.
OnePlus 5 will be a smartphone that should not cost much, but will be presented as a premium one by the OnePlus company for all those interested. The top components for the OnePlus 5 will be combined with some of lower quality, but overall the price matters the most for customers, and OnePlus knows that.
Having said that, there are very high chances that the OnePlus 5 will closely resemble the iPhone 7 Plus, and this could substantially increase its sales after the official launch. How much do you think the sales of a OnePlus 5 that looks so much like the iPhone 7 Plus could increase?
