Facebook announces a new major change for Live

Facebook today announced a major change for Live, the service that allows users of the social network to make live video transmissions from their own terminals. The change announced today for Facebook Live allows users who make a live video stream to invite a friend who can initiate a simultaneous video stream from another terminal.

We are looking at collaborative broadcasts that Facebook users can do through the Live system, with both broadcasts being displayed on the same screen. In the image below, you can see how a transmission made by two people at the same time looks like, the audience of the transmissions can be increased by combining the two accounts from which it is transmitted.

Facebook has been testing this new function for Facebook Live for some time, only celebrities from all over the world having the opportunity to use this new system. Considering that everyone enjoyed the function offered by those from Facebook, the company has now decided that it can offer the new system for Live for all users interested in transmissions.

Those from Facebook have also implemented a function that allows the initiation of private conversations with a person watching the respective broadcast. Those who make the transmissions have the opportunity to have discussions with any of the followers during the transmission without any other person knowing, the whole idea being a very good one.

The new function for Facebook Live is now offered only for the iOS platform and it is not known when it will reach the Android platform.
