The iPhone 8 will have a glass case that will facilitate the implementation of a wireless charging system, but the iPhone 7S will have an aluminum case, similar to the one used in the iPhone 7 and the other iPhone models from 2014 and 2015.
Having an aluminum case, the iPhone 7S cannot allow the wireless charging that the iPhone 8 will allow with its glass case, so Apple will not offer the technology.
