OnePlus 5 has its specifications, price, and release date revealed, along with a lot of images and videos showing all the details of the new smartphone, which copied the design of the iPhone 7 Plus in a desperate attempt to be successful.
OnePlus 5 is expected by many people because it promises to offer top specifications and compete seriously with iPhone and Samsung smartphones. Unfortunately, the price of the OnePlus 5 will not be as good as the fans of the series expect, but the specifications will be worthy of a terminal that costs 500 euros, so it remains to be seen how the fans will think about the purchases.
ONEPLUS 5 – top specifications for a cheap smartphone
The first thing we know since a few weeks ago thanks to all the rumors that appeared on the Internet are the OnePlus 5 specifications, the terminal having top components. According to all the rumors that have appeared so far, the OnePlus 5 specifications are the following, also confirmed by the Chinese company:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip with octa-core processor clocked at a minimum of 2.45 GHz;
- versions with 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM integrated;
- video card Adreno 540;
- AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 5.5 inches and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and DCI-P3 compatibility;
- fingerprint reader integrated in the Home button;
- dual camera consisting of a 16 megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 20 megapixel sensor with f/2.6 aperture;
- 64 and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage space for data;
- 3300 mAh battery with fast charging;
- dual-SIM support;
- 8 megapixel front camera;
- protective glass Gorilla Glass 5 for the screen;
- Bluetooth 5 and NFC.
As you can see, the OnePlus 5 has top specifications and is a smartphone that will attract attention thanks to the low price that the product will have. The OnePlus 5 was thought of as a smartphone with very good specifications and a low price, and what we see above resembles what exists in the Samsung Galaxy S8, only that the selling price will be much lower.
The OnePlus 5 also enjoys a much better dual camera, which can take very good pictures in low light conditions, but that's not all. Borrowing the design from the iPhone 7 Plus, OnePlus has also implemented a bokeh function in the OnePlus 5, allowing the recording of pictures with a depth effect, just like a DSLR camera.
OnePlus 5 - price and launch
Unfortunately, it seems that the price of the OnePlus 5 will be much higher than expected by many people, i.e. 480 euros for the 64 GB version and 530 euros for the 128 GB version. We are talking here about a very large price increase for the OnePlus 5, but a lot of people were expecting this, considering that the rumors have been around for several months.
The launch of OnePlus 5 will take place on June 27 in various countries around the world, OnePlus collaborating with various retailers for Asia and some in the US. OnePlus 5 will also arrive in Romania at some point, but for now it is not known at what prices and at which online stores in our country.
