Facebook - here are the 4 Types of Users

Facebook has 4 main types of users who use the social network, a new study presents each typology separately.

Facebook is the largest social network on the planet, and according to a recent study, among the 2 billion people who use it monthly there are 4 types of users. We are talking about 4 types of people who use Facebook regularly, and depending on how they find the social network useful, they were introduced into these 4 main categories of users.

Facebook was analyzed by a team of researchers from the Mormon Brigham Young University in the American state of Utah, reaching some very interesting conclusions. One of them is that Facebook has become an extension of real life for many people, they express their love and appreciation to many people much easier within the social network.

Facebook currently has 4 types of users: observers, those who inform their friends daily, people who take selfies and those who build relationships. The categorization of Facebook users was done based on a questionnaire with 48 statements that people had to analyze in order to evaluate them and help the researchers put them in one category or another.

Facebook - here are the 4 types of users of the social network

Facebook has "builder" users, who use the network mainly to respond to the posts of other users, they also use the additional functions of the social network. These Facebook users are trying to strengthen their relationships in the social network that they have in the real world, for them everything is just a new method to become closer to their friends.

Facebook still has "whistleblowers", or people who want to inform their friends, and the rest of the users, about what is happening in their lives and in the world. These Facebook users use all kinds of functions of the social network to share their messages wherever they want them to go, and all in an altruistic way to keep others informed.

Facebook would not have existed without selfies, and here appears the third category of users who publish pictures, video clips and messages to attract likes and attention from others. These people consider that the number of likes and comments left on their Facebook posts shows the appreciation their friends have for them, not necessarily for what they publish.

Facebook also has a fourth category of users, the observers, who do nothing but follow everything that happens in the social network, without intervening. What category of Facebook users do you belong to?
