iOS 11 – Smart Connection to Wi-Fi Networks

iOS beta 11 4 brings to everyone a function that was partially activated by Apple in the previous beta version, but which is now available to all users. More precisely, we are talking about a new function of iOS 11 that aims to ensure that we are always connected to the best Wi-Fi networks possible, those with slow connection or bad signal, having the automatic connection disabled.

iOS 11 has in the image below the new function that is effectively available starting with beta version 4, the application Settings, Configurations, telling us when a Wi-Fi network is bad. The automatic connection to bad Wi-Fi networks is disabled by iOS 11 without us actually doing anything, everything happens thanks to the artificial intelligence that the operating system has to always offer us the best connection.

iOS 11 does not have this feature available for the first time for any smartphone, but only in a different version, based on what Apple thought. This new function also gives priority to 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks over 2.4 GHz in iOS 11, so if you have many networks to which you are connected, the fastest ones will also have priority.
