Facebook is attacked even by Google

Facebook seems to be attacked even by Google, which has begun to learn how to promote its global online services more effectively.

Facebook is one of the largest companies on the planet, with a social media network that gathers 2 billion people monthly, making it the largest social media platform in the world. Facebook managed to reach such a large number of users thanks to the fact that it "borrowed" some of the functions of its services from competing companies, Snapchat being the company from which it took the most news.

Facebook took over all these functions without any restraint from Snapchat, but now those from Google I do exactly the same thing, without having any reservations from any point of view. Looking at what Facebook is doing, last week Google made a series of major changes to the Google Search application, which resembles what Facebook has done to the News Feed repeatedly.

Facebook has a very complex News Feed, and Google analyzed it in detail and decided to make some changes to make the two services more similar. This is of course very good, because Facebook and Google users will have similar interfaces for both services, from which they discover the daily news, each promoting different types of information for those who are interested.

Some time ago, Facebook also implemented a function that allows users to mark themselves as safe in case a natural disaster, terrorist attack, etc. happens in the area where they are. Google has implemented something similar in the Google Maps application, where similar information about events from various areas is displayed, but unlike Facebook, users cannot tell their friends that they are safe.

Facebook started using desktop push notifications last year to promote Instagram and Messenger apps, and Google is doing the same now. Those from Google promote their own mobile applications through the services accessed from the desktop, so we are talking about a strategy similar to the one undertaken by the Facebook company, the results will most likely be the same.

Facebook and Google have been competing for years in various fields, and until now the former have managed to surpass the latter with many online services. Facebook still sees now what it means for a competitor to start doing everything you do and take over your ideas, but of course that won't stop the people in Menlo Park from taking over major functions from other competing services for to be successful.
