Facebook, the largest social media platform on the planet, is currently testing other changes for the News Feeds that we see in applications and on the web. The company, which also owns WhatsApp, has officially confirmed that it is testing these new changes for the News Feed, but of course they are currently visible only to some users selected by Facebook to try them and say if they are really useful.
Facebook wants to personalize even more the News Feed that we all use, so that the information there is even closer to our interests. Facebook will launch this new change under the name Featured Topic, and within the new interface for the News Feed, posts will be displayed with a few sentences to help us understand what we are accessing, a link to the posts and a picture, i.e. more than now.
Facebook is testing this function to help users discover information that is of interest to them, but from pages and profiles that they do not follow. Facebook will choose these posts based on what it thinks we'd be interested in, so we'll basically have no say in what goes up there, with the company constantly making changes more or less. little, useful for his News Feed.
Facebook - important news for News Feed
Facebook thought News Feed to see information from the pages and people we follow, but everything has been constantly modified. Those at Facebook have tried to improve the News Feed to make it as useful as possible for us, but every time they run into user complaints, so they are still looking for ways to keep us "connected" to the News Feed.
Facebook has been displaying information based on our interests for a very long time, but until now it has not managed to discover a really useful method by which to do this. It is not known whether this change will be appreciated by users, especially since Facebook intends to display not only what we follow, but also other information that is unlikely to be so interesting for everyone.
"Facebook is testing a feature in the Facebook News Feed that provides customized links to news on topics of interest to individual users. The offering, called "Featured Topic," is being tested on News Feed, the core of Facebook. Each selected item includes a couple of sentences of text on a subject, a link to a news story and a photo."
Facebook is constantly testing changes for its social network, so it will be quite some time until this could be implemented, or not. If the function will be implemented, then the users of the Facebook applications will see it first, while on the desktop it could appear in the last instance, as it generally happens with the new functions prepared by those from Facebook for users.
