Animoji can also work on iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 could have animojis integrated into the messaging app available in iOS 11, with Apple offering the functionality in the iPhone X now.

Animoji are one of the new "star" functions of iPhone X, the Apple company implementing them to offer the possibility of creating animated emoji characters by our girls. Although it was thought that Animoji works thanks to the TrueDepth camera with its sensors, in reality it seems that the technology itself is made more by software than by anything else.

In the video clip below you can see that Animoji from iPhone X works only through the front camera, not through the other sensors of the phone, which I can confirm. If the iPhone X camera is covered, animoji no longer works, but if the other sensors are covered, there are no problems regarding the animation of the animated emoji characters.

In this idea, considering that iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X have equally high processing power through the new A11 chip, Apple could have offered the technology in the other models as well. In this idea, it is possible for Animoji to be functional in other older iPhone models, but of course Apple didn't think to offer the functionality because people wouldn't have bought the newest ones.

Here we have a classic strategy of the Apple company to force customers to buy the newest phone models at the expense of the old ones, just to have functions like this. Of course, Animoji will never reach phones other than the iPhone X, except perhaps through possible tweaks available for a possible jailbreak solution released for us.
