Watch Apple 3 has 4G LTE connectivity and new colors announced today by the Apple company, the new smartwatch model will be available for purchase in stores later this year at higher prices because the integration of this function will not be that cheap.
4G LTE for iPhone independence
Apple Watch 3 will be released by the Apple company in two versions, one that has 4G LTE connectivity and will be expensive, plus one that will not have such connectivity, but will be much cheaper, the new colors will be available for both models this year.
Apple Watch 3 will be Apple's first smartwatch that will work independently of an iPhone for internet connectivity and phone calls, but it will not have special functions for iPhone X si iPhone 8, or at least for now they have not been announced by Apple.
Apple Watch 3 comes with a new digital crown that has a red color, exactly as we were told after analyzing iOS 11 GM, it has an even higher resistance to water, even if it offers 4G LTE connectivity.
Siri, Apple Maps, and many other applications will work independently of the iPhone even at a distance, all thanks to a special SIM card. Apple Watch 3 will also offer the possibility to listen to music through Apple Music with the help of AirPods, or any Bluetooth headphones that are connected to it.
Apple Watch 3 will NOT be able to be used in Romania with the 4G LTE function because the operators in our country are not among those that will provide support for this functionality.
The new S2 chip with dual-core processor and altimeter
Apple Watch 3 has a processor with 70% more performance than the one in Apple Watch 2, which is included in a new S2 chip. Thanks to the new S2 chip, Apple Watch 3 can speak any information it displays on the screen.
Apple Watch 3 also has a new W2 chip that offers up to 85% better Wi-Fi performance. The altimeter helps to detect the height while using the applications, so we are talking about major improvements for some sports applications.
New antennas and SIM
Apple Watch 3 has antennas integrated into its screen, and the SIM card for 4G is an e-SIM, so it has a much smaller size than normal.
Design
The Apple Watch 3 looks exactly like the Apple Watch 2 and is a sheet of paper thicker than the previous model, but includes a multitude of new functions. Practically, apart from the new colors that Apple Watch 3 will offer, there will be no design differences from the model announced last year by Apple.
New colors and belts
Apple Watch 3 is available in a new golden aluminum color, but also a new range of straps that are offered in new colors exclusive to Apple Watch. Apple Watch 3 is available in a new black color for the ceramic version.
Price and release
Apple Watch 3 will be sold by the Apple company at the price of 329 dollars, or euros, for the standard version, plus 399 dollars, or euros, for the version with 4G LTE.
Apple Watch 3 will be available for pre-order on September 15 in 26 countries, not Romania, the launch will take place in 22 countries, but you will not be able to use its 4G LTE function in our country either.
Watch 4
Apple Watch 3 has a completely new application for the fitness sessions that users do, thanks to Gymkit, all the data from a fitness device being automatically entered into the watch. Apple Watch 3 will also allow you to store information from these fitness devices, but will also offer recommendations for doing new fitness exercises.
Apple Watch 3 will also display new information on heart rate measurements, including a graph of increases or decreases during daily activities, fitness activities and more.
Apple Watch 3 will also have a new function that will alert us when we are inactive, but have an increased heart rate, in order to make additional investigations. Related to this function, Apple has implemented a function that could detect heartbeats based on heart rate monitoring.
watchOS 4 will be released on September 19, when iOS 11 should also be available.
