Apple Accused of Causing a Permanent Handicap to a Woman

Directly from the USA today comes a trial in which the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is accused of causing a permanent disability to a woman who visited one of his stores. We are talking about a woman who visited an Apple Store in Wellington Green, Florida, where a metal bar fell on her hand, from the displays that hold the cases sold by the company, which apparently caused her quite serious injuries.

The incident happened when an Apple employee was looking for a case for the woman's iPhone, and now she claims that she has a permanent disability because of the blow. In the request to sue the woman, the woman's lawyer does not present evidence to support the woman's claims, but states that she tried to get medical help to solve the problem, although it seems that nothing can help her.

The woman's lawyer does not specify in the summons request an amount that she would like to receive as compensation for the incident in the Apple Store. Now it remains to be seen what the judges will decide, but I have a vague impression that Apple's lawyers will manage to convince the court to reject the request and let their company continue to do its business.

The Apple Inc employee dropped a sharp metal shelf bolder on the Plaintiff's left arm while locating an iPhone case for her iPhone. Plaintiff Lovey Love Harris was severely and seriously injured; suffered and will continue to suffer pain and injury; has become lame and disabled and upon information and belief, will be permanently injured.
