Google Pixel 2 it has the price, the specifications, the first official images and the release date announced by Google right now, the new phone of the American company being awaited by quite a large number of fans. The Google Pixel 2 is presented together with the Google Pixel 2 XL at the moment, both phones being thought to compete with the iPhone 8, iPhone X si Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Google's intentions being to offer viable alternatives to Apple products.
Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL had a lot of details revealed before this presentation, but now everything has become official.
Specifications not too impressive
Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL do not have impressive specifications, the Google company bringing their phones to the same level as the rest of the Android smartphones and nothing more. It was expected that this would happen since the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL were never presented as having major innovations, with Google not having teams to develop its own innovative chips or hardware features.
Google Pixel 2 has the following technical specifications:
- P-OLED screen with a diagonal of 5 inches, resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 538 pixels per inch;
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip with octa-core processor clocked at 2.35 GHz;
- 4 GB RAM DDR 4;
- 64 GB storage space;
- Qualcomm Adreno 540 video card;
- 8 megapixel front camera with f/2.4 aperture;
- Android 8;
- haptic sensor on the edge of the case.
Google Pixel 2 XL has the following technical specifications:
- P-OLED screen with a diagonal of 6 inches, resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and 538 pixels per inch;
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip with octa-core processor clocked at 2.35 GHz;
- 4 GB RAM DDR 4;
- 64 GB storage space;
- Qualcomm Adreno 540 video card;
- 3520 mAh battery;
- 8 megapixel front camera with f/2.4 aperture;
- Android 8;
- haptic sensor on the edge of the case.
Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL have only one newer function implemented, namely the case with pressure sensors on the edges, this technology being taken over from the HTC U11. Considering that the Google Pixel 2 is manufactured by HTC, it was normal to see its implementation, especially since Google licensed all the patents for HTC's mobile products and bought the company's mobile division.

Google Pixel 2 price and launch
The Google Pixel 2 will be sold at prices starting at $650 in the US, while the Google Pixel 2 XL will be sold at prices starting at $850. Google Pixel 2 will be launched by Google on October 19, while Google Pixel 2 XL will hit the market on November 15, so fans of the series will have a lot to look forward to after the two Google phones.
