Netflix the prices of the monthly subscriptions are increasing, the American company making the announcement during the past days and many subscribers are wondering how soon the change will reach them. Netflix initially announced that it would increase subscription prices in the US by $1, and then it also announced that users in Great Britain will have more expensive subscriptions from the end of November, and now the other Europeans are also following.
Netflix has not announced its intention to increase subscription prices in euros for now, but it will definitely make this change because if it has increased prices in the US and Great Britain, it will do so in other parts. It is true that the lira no longer has the same value as it did a year ago, but Netflix might want to set relatively equal prices for everyone, so it would not be out of the question to increase our prices again in Romania.
Netflix increases the prices of monthly subscriptions
Netflix would earn another 1 billion dollars annually from subscriptions if it increases subscriptions in all the countries in which it operates, the amount allowing the financing of new films and series. The increases are a maximum of 1 dollar/lira for subscriptions for now, and in the case of euros we could talk about the same thing for Netflix customers, so you will not pay much more than at present.
Netflix has subscriptions of at least 8 euros in Romania, and the basic one could remain unchanged, but the standard and premium subscriptions could be more expensive by 1 euro from next month. Netflix has stated that it will notify its users about the changes until October 19, so if they don't tell us anything until then, then it's possible that we won't be affected by any radical changes until next year.
