iOS 11.0.3 – Battery Life on iPhone

iOS 11.0.3 has iPhone and iPad battery life compared to that of iOS 11.0.2 to reveal what awaits us after installing the update.

iOS 11.0.3 has the battery life for iPhone compared in the video clip below, iOS 11.0.2 being the benchmark to see if Apple has made any improvements or not. You have probably not forgotten that the battery autonomy was destroyed in iOS 11.0.2 by the Apple company, the iPhone 8 Plus losing 2 hours of autonomy that were recovered after installing iOS 11.0.3 on the new Apple phone.

iOS 11.0.3 increases the autonomy of the iPhone 8 Plus battery by 2 hours compared to iOS 11.0.2, but in the case of the iPhone 7 Plus we are talking about a reduction of approximately 30 minutes of autonomy. Basically, Apple improved the battery life of the iPhone 8 Plus in iOS 11.0.3 and reduced that of the iPhone 7 Plus, compared to iOS 11.0.2, so if you have the old phone model, you know what to expect after update.

iOS 11.0.3 is an update designed to solve iPhone and iPad operating problems, not necessarily to improve performance, but it improves autonomy. To be completely honest, I expected the battery life of the iPhone 8 Plus to be improved in iOS 11.0.3 compared to iOS 11.0.2, and Apple kept their word and solved the problem for their customers.

iOS 11.0.3 might have mixed results in terms of battery life for other iPhone and iPad models, but that remains for you to discover. On the iPhone 8, iOS 11.0.3 seems to offer an autonomy at least as good as that of iOS 11.0.1, but I did not have iOS 11.0.2 installed on the phone, so unfortunately I cannot give you information with regarding the difference to that version of iOS.
