AirPower will be much more expensive than it should be

AirPower has revealed for the first time the possible price that Apple could charge for the accessory dedicated to the wireless charging of its products.

AirPower, the new charging pad developed by the Apple company, was listed yesterday by a European website at a much higher price than it should be. More precisely, AirPower was listed at a price of over 200 euros in Poland, but in the US Apple Store it should be sold at prices approaching the value of 200 dollars, according to those who made the listing the other day.

AirPower has practically integrated three wireless chargers in one, because it allows charging iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch, so a price of 200 dollars would not be hard to believe. Apple sells Mophie's chargers for $60 a piece, so a unit that includes 3 other charging pads and costs $200 is perfectly plausible, AirPower being unique in what it does.

AirPower only works with iPhone 8, iPhone X, Apple Watch 3 and the new version of AirPods, but Apple did not say if it can charge multiple phones or watches simultaneously. Apple demonstrated the charging of every type of product with AirPower, so it is possible that only this situation is possible, and in this case 200 dollars for a charger does not justify the price even if you have one product from each category.

AirPower will be launched by Apple in the coming months, but for now no one has a clear date when it will reach the global markets.
