iPhone X vs iPhone 7 Plus – Performance test

iPhone X and iPhone 7 Plus appear today in a performance test that shows us if the price difference between the phones is also felt in terms of speed.

iPhone X and iPhone 7 Plus are compared in a first test to show us what kind of performance the two phones of the company offer Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, the differences in the synthetic tests being enormous between them. The iPhone X has an A11 Bionic chip implemented by the Apple company, while the iPhone 7 Plus has an A10 Fusion chip, the scores in Geekbench being clearly in favor of the first, but this is no longer a surprise for anyone.

The iPhone X starts faster than the iPhone 7 Plus, as is normal thanks to the much faster processor, RAM and storage medium than those offered in the previous model. After the first start of the two phones, it is very clearly visible that for opening native applications there are no differences in performance between iPhone X and iPhone 7 Plus, and if they are minor, the situation is not so unexpected.

iPhone X has exactly the same hardware as iPhone 8, and in the case of that model we have already seen that there are no big differences compared to iPhone 7 Plus, this test confirms that. iOS 11 is thought in such a way that the animations keep the hardware in place from the iPhone X or iPhone 8, so this is where the lack of differences between the two phone models comes from, turning off the animations can make a major difference.

The iPhone X is interestingly surpassed in opening some games, as we saw with the iPhone 8 a few weeks ago, a sign that the applications are still not so well optimized for the new A11 Bionic. Unfortunately, we do not see a test with the reopening of applications left in the background, but probably the iPhone X will not be better than the iPhone 8 here, iOS 11 completely ruining the RAM memory management system.
