Apple Watch. The Much Wanted Feature That Is Not Ready Yet

Apple Watch will soon not have one of the functions that would turn it into a must-have gadget for many iPhone owners.

Apple Watch is the Apple product that had one of the biggest increases in sales from the entire offer of the American company during 2017. The Apple Watch is estimated to have generated even higher sales in 2018, and this despite the fact that it did not bring functions major changes with this year's update, and a function expected by many will not arrive next year either.

Apple Watch will soon not have a function that allows the measurement of blood glucose, the technology developed by the company not being ready for launch yet. We are talking here about a non-invasive method of measuring blood sugar using the Apple Watch, and this without the product being classified as medical by the American authorities.

Apple Watch has a team of experts developing the technology for glucose monitoring, and Tim Cook tested a prototype with it activated, but it seems that the product is not ready for the public. It is possible that Apple is testing a method of measuring blood sugar for which it cannot find components for mass production at the moment and needs partners to help it more.

"Separately, Apple is continuing research on a noninvasive continuous glucose reader, according to two people with knowledge of the project. The technology is still considered to be years away, industry experts said."

On the other hand, it is possible that the Apple Watch does not measure blood sugar correctly for now and this is the problem, but for now no one knows what is holding the function in place. The good part is that in 2018 we should have one Apple Watch capable of making electrocardiograms, the Apple company seems ready to launch it officially.
