Microsoft Cracked AMD Processor PCs with Spectre Patch

Microsoft released a patch with the number KB4056892, which causes problems for Windows computers with AMD processors, refusing to start.

Microsoft patch KB4056892 AMD Windows

Microsoft released a patch with the name the other day KB4056892, with the role of blocking the Specter vulnerability that was confirmed as existing in AMD processors. Users of these processors claim that after installing the KB4056892 patch for Windows 7 or Windows 10, they realized that the operating system refuses to start, getting stuck at the loading logo.

Microsoft has practically managed to ruin the computers of customers who use AMD processors, the patch KB4056892 preventing even the restoration to the settings before the application of the patch for the customers who are affected by the problem. In this idea, even if users of computers with AMD processors were able to start their computers, the KB4056892 patch prevents data recovery.

The even worse part for AMD customers who installed Windows is that in some cases reinstalling the operating system proved to be impossible, and in others the KB4056892 patch was downloaded immediately after Windows was installed. Basically, many of those who installed the KB4056892 patch on Windows computers with AMD processors had a terrible experience.

"I have older AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+, Asus MB, after installation of KB4056892 the system doesn't boot, it only shows the Windows logo without animation and nothing more. After several failed boots it does roll-back then it shows error 0x800f0845. Unfortunately, it seems it's not easy to disable the automatic updates without gpedit tweaks, so it tries installing and rolling-back the update over and over."

Microsoft did not respond in any way to the problems reported by customers after the installation of the KB4056892 patch, most of them being reported on the weekend, when the company does not really have PR people working, or others who solve problems. Despite this, there are certainly Microsoft engineers who know that they have to solve the problems brought by the KB4056892 patch.
