Vodafone was certified for the fourth consecutive year as having the best performing mobile network in Romania, the operator's results being worthy of all praise. Vodafone had its network tested in 40 locations in Romania in tandem with those of the other major operators in the country and it seems that it still remains the most performing. Vodafone made massive investments in its mobile network, launching Supernet 4.5G last year, and these investments seem to be paying off now, with results in line with expectations.
Vodafone does not have as many customers as those from Orange, but it has surpassed Vodafone for some time and continues to attract new subscribers, or card users with very good offers. From what it seems, those from Vodafone will remain at the top of the mobile market with very good performances in 2018 as well, but I expect similar announcements from Orange and Telekom soon.

Bucharest, January 18, 2018 – The Vodafone Romania network was certified as the best performing mobile network in Romania for the fourth consecutive year, achieving the highest overall score for quality and performance its voice and mobile data services, following the testing of all mobile networks in Romania by the independent auditor P3 communications, in November and December 2017.
At the same time, the results of the tests carried out by P3 communications show that Vodafone Romania has achieved highest score for mobile data services and offers the best internet browsing and YouTube experience compared to other operators.

Measurements performed by the independent auditor P3 communications between November 23 and December 16, 2017, it shows that, compared to other mobile communications networks in the country, Vodafone Romania obtained the certificate "Best in Test" and "Best in Data" in the "Mobile Benchmark Romania" campaign. The mobile network comparative testing campaign was carried out in over 40 localities – large and small cities, rural localities – and on the connecting roads between them throughout Romania and included over 35.000 voice and data tests. The towns were randomly and independently selected by P3 communications and included Aiud, Alba-Iulia, Beclean, Botoșani, Brăila, Bucharest, Cernavodă, Cluj-Napoca, Constanța, Craiova, Deva, Gura Humorului, Iaşi, Pitesti, Tecuci , Timisoara, Tulcea, Customs, Vaslui.
The test methodology is updated annually by P3 communications to reflect the growing expectations of customers and the availability of the latest mobile technologies in the respective country, as well as to test the maximum capabilities of mobile networks.
