Vodafone increase Customers Revenues Q4 2017

Vodafone announced today the financial results for Q4 2017 in Romania, i.e. the last three months of last year, and we are talking about very good news for the mobile operator's investors. According to him, in Q4 2017 the number of its customers reached 9.944.595 customers, an increase of 722.000 customers compared to the same period last year, the operator getting extremely close to those from Orange and surpassing the Telekom company.

Vodafone also announces that it recorded revenues of 182.3 million euros in Q4 2017, most likely less than Orange and Telekom, which generate over 200 million euros quarterly. For Vodafone, we are still talking about a 2.2% increase in organic revenues, the mobile operator being in an important increase in revenues.

Vodafone also announces that mobile subscribers represented 40% of the total customer base in Q4 2017, and 60% use services with prepaid cards, the percentages changing by 1% in favor of cards compared to Q4 2016. Vodafone also announced that it has increased with 71% and mobile internet consumption in its network, but this is normal since mobile internet services were promoted so intensively.

Vodafone is continuously growing both in terms of the number of customers and in terms of revenue after Murielle Lorilloux became the new president of the Romanian mobile phone operator. As things stand, it is possible that in Q1 2018 Vodafone will announce that it has once again exceeded 10 million active customers in Romania, a figure from which it has seriously distanced itself for several years, but which it has approached thanks to its new CEO.
