Company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), announced last night the launch of a repair program for iPhone 7 which is meant to solve a very serious problem of its phones. More precisely, we are talking about a problem known to many owners of the iPhone 7 ca No Service, a message that appears when the phone has no GSM signal.
Apple says that this problem only affects iPhone 7 phones manufactured in the last year and a half and sold in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau and the USA. The iPhone 7 models that have this problem are A1660, A1679 and A1780, and none of them are sold in Europe, so if you bought the phone from our continent, you can rest easy.
If you bought iPhone 7 from any of the regions mentioned above, then it is possible that your phone's GSM signal will disappear suddenly and forever. The phone will display the message No Service, and at that moment you will have to visit an authorized Apple service to benefit from a free repair, a very good thing, by the way.
"These affected units were manufactured between September 2016 and February 2018 and sold in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, and the US See below for iPhone 7 model numbers that are covered in this program."
Although the initiative of those from Apple is commendable, it is still embarrassing for a mobile phone to remain without its essential function suddenly and without any solution method without repair. Apple has been "tormented" by such embarrassing problems in the last year and it seems that it will not get rid of them soon, so we must always be prepared for problems of this kind.
