HomePod Google Home Amazon Echo

HomePod, Google Home si Amazon Echo were put through an extremely interesting test, the smart speakers talking to themselves for almost 2 days. In the video clip below you can see the test done by an American publication, trying to see how long the speakers can talk to each other until one stops and ruins the whole experiment.

To convince HomePod, Google Home and Amazon Echo to talk to each other, the journalists set reminders, calendar entries and lists of objectives, each speaker running a command that activates the voice assistant of the other. The test showed us that products of this kind can talk on their own for almost 2 days without stopping, and that tells us a lot about their usefulness.

On the other hand, the test also shows us how well the voice assistants can understand the commands in time, which ultimately has a major benefit for users who give commands every day.
