Those from Huawei announces today another interesting study regarding the habits of Romanians who own a smartphone, it has to do with giving up television in favor of a mobile device. More precisely, the study done by IPSOS for Huawei says that 3 out of 4 Romanians prefer to give up television in favor of a smartphone, quite an interesting situation.

71% of Romanians give up television in favor of smartphones, according to this study, and 67% say they would give up sweets for a month instead of giving up smartphones. This last part is interesting, but somewhat irrelevant because the role of sweets in a person's life is much different from that of the television and the desire for information, or watching movies.

Going further, 79% of Romanians give up their smartphone in favor of a relationship with their loved one, while 69% would give it up to spend time with friends. More importantly, 93% of Romanians would not give up playing games with their children in favor of a smartphone, the fact that 7% of them would do that is worrying, but there must be something negative, right?

"71% of Romanians easily give up television in favor of a smartphone. Moreover, 67% of Romanian respondents say that they can just as easily give up sweets for a month instead of giving up their smartphone.

People's addiction to smartphones cannot be doubted, we all know how much we are connected to these mobile devices, so we should not be surprised by the numbers. The results are still interesting and show us a bit of what Romanians think and do, and this should make some people think about the use of smartphones.
