Samsung Galaxy S9: EXCLUSIVE, Customer Issue

The Samsung Galaxy S9 could be launched with an important problem for customers who are thinking of buying it from the Korean company after it is available on the market.

Samsung Galaxy S9 customer problem

Samsung Galaxy S9 will be presented at the end of this week by the Samsung company, and based on the latest information, a problem for the future customers of the Koreans is foreshadowed. We are talking here about one that should not have existed, but it would seem that things are not always exactly as we would like, and the difference in RAM between the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus could matter more than it was believed.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has presented in the image below a performance test carried out by a person who came into possession of a terminal before the launch, and the results are interesting. Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus with 6 GB RAM has better performance than Samsung Galaxy S9 with 4 GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, the difference being several hundred points in the multi-core test and over 1000 in the single-core test.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus should not normally have differences of this kind between the processors used, but also between the mobile versions that have screens of different diagonals. This was the situation in the past years with the premium phone models of the Samsung company, but it seems that in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S9 we are talking about a change in the situation, something that would not really be to the advantage of the end customers.

Samsung Galaxy S9 – performance issue

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus geekbench performance

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has presented in the image above the best result so far in terms of performance, coming extremely close to what iPhone X offers for customers. If every year Samsung falls behind Apple in terms of performance, things will not be like this in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S9, at least in Geekbench, because in AnTuTu the Korean phone performs much better, surprisingly.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 needs very good performance to be successful after launch, and what we see above seems to confirm the fact that Samsung does not want to be much lower than Apple. Considering that the Samsung Galaxy S9 does not reach the iPhone X in terms of performance, and Apple will certainly improve the performance of the iPhone XS, it is difficult to say whether Samsung will ever reach the performance of Apple's mobile phones.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will be presented on February 25 at 19:00 by the Samsung company in an event that will be organized in Barcelona before Mobile World Congress 2018 begins. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will be available for pre-order starting on March 2nd, while the launch will take place on March 9th in one set of countries and on March 16th in another set of countries.
