iPhone X was the center of attention at Mobile World Congress 2018, but not because Apple presented anything interesting there, but because the event was perfect for some of the Android manufacturers to present their clones. Not all of the ones in the image below were presented at Mobile World Congress 2018, some being known long before, but at least ASUS Zenfone 5 si LG G7 were officially presented in Barcelona.
The iPhone X was launched by the Apple company with enormous praise for the screen cut-out and the TrueDepth camera, but what could it do, even if the panel the front looks very ugly with a cut in it ? Now, real stupidity it only appears in clones, because all these producers captious they failed to bring real innovations to their phones, so they copied the worst possible change made for iPhone X by Apple.

iPhone X hides a revolutionary TrueDepth camera in that cutout for the screen, it offers the most advanced facial recognition system ever implemented in a smartphone dedicated to consumers. What are the clones hiding in the cutout? Trivial front cameras, proximity sensors and ambient light, but nothing revolutionary, so why would there be any logic in copying the worst design element created for the iPhone X?
The people from ASUS explained the stupidity very well: because that's what the customers want. I could not know which of the customers are so eager to see cutouts in phones that do not have a TrueDepth camera, but that matters less. What matters is that Apple can also make a hole in the screen, or any other stupid thing, and all Asians will copy without restraint, shame, or any other trace of logic any kind of stupidity in their phones in the hope that they will be successful.
