Apple wants to Produce TV Shows with Barack Obama

Apple is interested in producing TV shows in which Barack Obama will be in the foreground, the company from Cupertino still having to make a better offer than Netflix.

Apple Barack Obama

Barack Obama, the former president of the USA, is in the attention of those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for a possible collaboration in order to produce TV shows for the Apple Music streaming platform. Barack Obama is already negotiating with Netflix to produce this type of multimedia content for the American company's platform, but those from Apple and Amazon are also interested.

Both Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are part of the negotiations and plans of Netflix, but the Apple company could come up with a better offer for the presidential couple. It is not yet known what kind of shows Barack Obama could make for Netflix or Apple, but they could be related to important moments from the time he was president of the USA.

Barack Obama was and remains extremely popular in the USA, his two terms as president maintaining his very good image among Americans, but not only them. In this idea, both Apple and Netflix can produce successful shows with Barack Obama and his wife, but of course it also depends on what kind of topics they want to touch on in these materials.

"Several people familiar with the Netflix discussions said that executives from Apple and Amazon, which have their own streaming services, have also expressed interest in talking with Mr. Obama about content deals. Under the terms of a proposed deal, which is not yet final, Netflix would pay Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, for exclusive content that would be available only on the streaming service. The number of episodes and the formats for the shows have not been decided."

For Apple, a collaboration with Barack Obama would represent a serious image blow, which could bring new subscribers for the Apple Music platform in the future. Apple will offer this content exclusively through Apple Music, as Netflix does through its platform, but it remains to be seen to what extent those from Cupertino will be able to convince the former president.
