OnePlus ADMITS that it COPIED the iPhone X and Apple

OnePlus has officially admitted that it copied many iPhone X innovations in the OnePlus 6 and credits Apple for bringing them to market.

OnePlus ACKNOWLEDGES COPYING Apple's iPhone X

OnePlus 6 had the first official images with the new design revealed yesterday, the OnePlus company offering a preview for its future phone, including some interesting information for an American publication. The company OnePlus admits, through the voice of its president, that it copied the design iPhone X in their own phones and that if Apple had not implemented the cutout in the screen, it would have taken a few more years (read an eternity) until the company would have implemented it on its own.

OnePlus also admitted that it copied the gestures that Apple implemented in the iPhone X, confirming again the fact that it would have taken longer to implement them on its own if Apple had not done it. Basically, OnePlus 6 is a copy of iPhone X because OnePlus could not innovate alone and would have needed several years to implement these innovations in its phones, so it preferred to steal what Apple did.

OnePlus also explained why Android phones stupidly have both a screen cut-out and a lower edge, in that part of the front panel the components on which the screens work are stored. The president of OnePlus says that all Android phone manufacturers must keep that portion of the front panel, called "barbie" by them, the Apple company implementing the components on the basis of which the screen works differently.

"Our notch, it will be there. It'll be bigger than the Essential Phone, smaller than the iPhone. Apple accelerates the adoption of things within the industry. Maybe not as fast. But we have access to the roadmaps of all the screen manufacturers, and when they gave us the opportunity to make cutouts at the top of the screen. We saw the implementation [of gestures] on the iPhone, maybe it would have taken longer if Apple hadn't done it."

OnePlus is the first company to openly admit that it copied the design and elements of the iPhone X interface for a phone that it is going to release to the general public in the not-too-distant future. The OnePlus 6 is a clone of the iPhone X because OnePlus is a company where innovation is not accepted, and if it had not had a copy, it would most likely not be working today, because it had nothing to release for phones .
