iOS 11.4 has the first news for iPhone and iPad discovered after the release of the first beta version of the operating system by Apple.

iOS 11.4 Three NEW Functions iPhone iPad

iOS 11.4 was launched this evening by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for iPhone and iPad, application developers for the iOS platform benefit from two new functions that were removed from iOS 11.3, plus one for the first time. The first new function brought back by the Apple company in iOS 11.4 is AirPlay 2, this being implemented including for tvOS 11.4, many users waiting for it.

iOS 11.4 also brings back the iMessage in the Cloud function, with Apple allowing the synchronization of iMessage messages on all interconnected iDevices with the same Apple ID. Of course, the iMessage in the Cloud function was removed from iOS 11.3 by Apple, but in iOS 11.4 it is available again and will probably be offered officially.

iOS 11.4 brings HomePod users the possibility to combine two speakers to listen to music in stereo format, something that Apple has promised since the launch. It seems that the function will be offered for HomePod only in the summer, when iOS 11.4 will be released in the final version for iPhone and iPad, so users will still have to wait.
