Intel Launches New 8th Generation Processors

Intel announced today the launch of new processors from the 8th generation, their performances being clearly superior to those offered by previous models.

Intel Processors Generation 8

Intel announced today the launch of new top processors from the 8th generation of the series, the American company trying to bring desktop performance to users' laptops. Intel has announced i9 processors with six cores for laptops, the top of the range being the i9-8950HK, which also offers the most impressive performances for users.

Intel amazes with the i9 series processors that have six cores, but for computers it has models with up to 18 cores, so we are talking about major differences that still exist. The new Intel i9 processors for laptops are 29% more powerful than those of the 7th generation, offer 41% better performance for some games and 59% better for 4K editing.

In the case of the Intel i9-8950HK processor, we are also talking about Turbo Boost, which takes the working frequency to 4.8 GHz, and overclockers will be able to play with it to their heart's content, because it does not come with a lock for the multiplier. Basically, Intel offers those who want laptops the opportunity to buy processors that offer performance extremely close to that of desktops, but the prices are reasonable.

Without announced prices for these new types of processors, I imagine that only the laptops that will cost at least 1200 - 1500 dollars will have them implemented by the manufacturers. Laptops that have processors that offer very good performance are also very expensive, so if you are interested in them, don't imagine that you will be able to buy them very cheaply.

Apart from the processors for laptops, those from Intel have launched new models for the desktop as well, the second image above showing the specifications and prices for them.
