Facebook Messenger: 2 NEW Functions on iPhone and Android

Facebook Messenger has two new functions implemented on iPhone and Android, the Facebook application bringing new experiences for global users.

Facebook Messenger NEW Features iPhone Android

Facebook Messenger, one of the most popular platforms on the planet, has applications for iPhone si Android updated today to provide two important new features for users around the world. Facebook Messenger has first of all implemented the possibility to share and view photos recorded at 360 degrees and panoramic photos, iPhone and Android users being able to see them directly in the applications after installing the updates.

Starting today, Facebook Messenger has a new feature available for recording photos, which allows the recording of 360-degree panoramic photos directly from the application, without using another separate feature. Sharing this type of photos via Facebook Messenger is done as easily as in the case of other photos shared by us, they are automatically modified to be displayed as any kind of normal photos, so that they can be seen by anyone on iPhone and Android .

Facebook Messenger has also implemented the possibility of sharing HD videos directly from the application, the Facebook company implementing this functionality after years and years of sharing clips at small and stupid resolutions. Facebook Messenger allows users to share videos in 720p format in the iPhone and Android applications, so no matter what resolution you make them at, they will be modified before sharing and displayed at a worse resolution.

"Amazing 360 degree photos, and panoramic photos, will give you the ability to share more immersive views of your world - from stunning landscapes, to that coveted ocean view from your hotel room, or the way your new apartment looks. Many smartphones capture videos with HD resolution, and now people on Messenger can send and receive HD quality, 720p videos straight from their camera roll."

Facebook Messenger offers both functions starting today, and for each there will be a special icon next to the pictures and video clips to know that they are at the good resolution promised by the company. Facebook Messenger promised that the new functions will be implemented in the applications for iPhone and Android starting today, but of course you will have to wait a little longer until the new versions are propagated throughout the world through the AppStore and Google Play.
