Apple Watch has a very interesting new function announced by watchOS 4.3.1, which Apple is currently developing for all users.

watchOS 4.3.1 New Apple Watch feature

watchOS 4.3.1 is currently being tested in beta by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, the new version of the operating system announcing an interesting change for Apple Watch. More specifically, inside the source code of watchOS 4.3.1, evidence was discovered that suggests that support for third parties is to be offered by Apple in the future.

At the moment, the Apple company is the only one that offers new faces for the Apple Watch, but things would change in the future, those from Cupertino intending to offer developers this option as well. For now, the source code of watchOS 4.3.1 only hints at this implementation, this being the first time it has been discovered, so it is unlikely to be offered before watchOS 5.

The possibility of using third-party faces for the Apple Watch is something that any smart watch user will definitely appreciate, especially since the customization options are not very many. The existence of support for third-party faces would provide many more options for users to customize the Apple Watch, with Apple only able to verify the faces before they are offered.

watchOS 5 is being prepared for release by Apple in the fall of this year, with the first beta version to be released on June 4, after the opening conference of WWDC 2018. Apple will then announce all the exciting changes that will be available for watchOS 5, so it only remains to see what important improvements will be offered.
