Facebook made a huge change to the News Feed, the place where you see all the news from within the social network, the change coming without any warning from the company, but this is a good thing, in light of the changes it will offer. More precisely, the Facebook company continues the fight against fake news, so it decided that posts with dubious content should be displayed in a smaller format than posts with real information, in the hope that people will ignore them.
Facebook has officially confirmed the change that you can see in the image below, the American company resorting to this method after not finding any solution to solve the problem of fake news existing throughout its platform for several years. Thanks to this change, news considered to be fake will be displayed in a very small format by Facebook, and users will most likely overlook them when scrolling through the News Feed.

At the same time, Facebook is also improving the method of identifying fake news, artificial intelligence playing a very important role here, choosing the news that the company's employees will have to monitor to see if they are fake or real. Facebook says that the use of artificial intelligence will substantially reduce the number of posts that employees have to analyze, but also the number of those that are not fake, so the negative impact on publishers will be smaller.
Facebook will also delete more fake accounts from its network, saying that this measure could reduce by up to 80% the number of fake news that exists within the platform, but it is hard to say if the impact will be as much as the company expects. Facebook has reached the point where it has no choice and has to resort to desperate methods to limit the spread of fake news within the platform, previous attempts being doomed to failure.
