UBER is currently testing a very important change for its customers, implementing the option to benefit from races at a reduced price, but under certain conditions that may not be to everyone's liking. More precisely, those at UBER will implement the option to benefit from lower prices for rides if the user is willing to wait a longer period of time until the moment the ride actually starts.
UBER will offer this option depending on the number of rides requested from a certain location by users, and at the moment the company's employees have the system active before it is actually launched. An employee of UBER revealed the new function, it can reduce the transport costs for many if they are willing to wait in order not to make the trips at a peak hour, the waiting time can be up to 10 minutes, or even more so big.
UBER will REDUCE Ride Fares for Customers
UBER knows that people are generally looking for the cheapest rides, and based on current demand on its platform, it can offer rides up to 25% cheaper for those interested, if they are willing to wait longer. Of course, this means less money for UBER drivers, but who can dispute the fact that the platform was never intended to benefit anyone other than those who developed it, and not the customers or the drivers.
"The option to wait longer in exchange for a cheaper ride is being tested among all Uber employees in San Francisco and Los Angeles, a company spokeswoman told us in an email. "Affordability is a top reason riders choose shared rides, and we're internally experimenting with a way to save money in exchange for a later pickup."
UBER offers convenient prices for most of the rides made by users, but in Romania the drivers have started to be a bit rude, to put it nicely, because they accept rides, they don't come to the customer, and wait for the cancellation from him to receive 8 LEI for free . I've experienced it a few times recently when I was forced to reorient myself from UBER to Taxify, but here the drivers drive terribly badly, and the cars are worse, unfortunately.
