WhatsApp is the largest messaging platform on the planet, and last night the American company updated the version for iPhone for users from all over the world with two important news. The first function that WhatsApp brings to iPhone users is related to group administrators, who can block the sending of messages to groups for people who do not have the role of administrator in that group.
WhatsApp will allow users to read messages and respond to them with a button that allows them to get in touch with administrators, but apart from that they will no longer be able to send messages, if the function is activated. The second important feature that WhatsApp brings to users has to do with notifying our contacts when we change our phone number, something that quite a few people have gone through at one point or another.

WhatsApp now allows sending an automatic message with our new phone number when we change it, a special option being integrated into the settings menu of the iPhone application. All the people I have selected from the WhatsApp contact list will receive the new phone number, so when we send them a message, they will know who it came from, the function being extremely useful for all users .
- Group admins can now choose to allow only admins to send messages to a group. Open "Group Info" > tap "Group Settings". Non-admins will still be able to read messages and respond privately by tapping "Message Admin".
- You can now easily notify people when you change your phone number. Tap "Settings" > "Account" > "Change Number". You can select which contacts or chats you would like to notify.
WhatsApp has been testing these new features for iPhone for some time, and if they are not yet implemented in Android, then they will definitely be offered in the next period, as it normally happens. WhatsApp has over 1.3 billion users worldwide at the moment, and these new functions are available after installing the application update, which can be downloaded by anyone on an iPhone from the App Store at the moment.
