iOS 12 is currently offered in beta version by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, and an interesting novelty was discovered in it. More precisely, in the image below you have the interface created by Apple in iOS 12 to allow users of the new iPad Pro models from 2018 to use the new TruDepth camera to create Animoji.
iOS 12 for iPad has implemented AvatarKit, the system that allows the creation of animoji using the TrueDepth camera, until now it only existed in iOS 11 for iPhone X. Starting with iOS 12, Apple brings this software to the iPad as well, and this confirms the fact that new models with Face ID are to be launched by those from Cupertino this fall for us.

iOS 12 has in this image the first proof of the fact that Apple intends to implement Face ID in new iPad Pro models, but I am sure that others will appear as well. Those from Apple are definitely testing Face ID on the iPad, and although the interface can be easily recreated by anyone, we will soon see other evidence of the integration of facial recognition for tablets.
iOS 12 will offer Face ID on the new iPad Pro in a similar way to the one we see implemented for the iPhone X phones, so don't imagine that it will be anything different. Those from Apple are forced to offer Face ID in the iPad Pro as well in order to reduce the size of the tablet screens, this change being very important for the future of the products.
