Samsung GALAXY S10 is scheduled for launch by the Samsung company at the beginning of next year, the new smartphone model will also have a component offered for the first time for smart phones. More specifically, the Samsung company announced the other day a new partnership with ARM to develop processors that will have frequencies exceeding 3 GHz, they will be launched at the beginning of 2019, when the Samsung GALAXY S10 will also be launched.

The Samsung GALAXY S10 will have new processors offered by Samsung and Qualcomm, and the partnership between the Koreans and ARM will bring the new Cortex A76 chip produced using a 7nm manufacturing process. Overcoming the 3 GHz barrier for processors is an extremely important step that Samsung and ARM are taking, and the Samsung GALAXY S10 could offer surprising performances, perhaps even superior to those of Apple's iPhones.

Samsung GALAXY S10: PREMIERE OFFICIALLY announced

The Samsung GALAXY S10 will have processors manufactured with a 7LPP production process, that is 7nm, but also with a reduced energy consumption, so there are chances that the battery autonomy will be significantly improved. Those from Samsung intend to produce new chips also using a 5LPE, i.e. 5nm, manufacturing process, but they will not end up in the Samsung GALAXY S10 because the necessary technology has not yet been completed by the Koreans.

"Samsung Electronics, a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology, today announced that its strategic foundry collaboration with Arm will be expanded to 7/5-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology. Based on Samsung Foundry's 7LPP (7nm Low Power Plus) and 5LPE (5nm Low Power Early) process technologies, the Arm® Artisan® physical IP platform will enable 3GHz+ computing performance for Arm's Cortex®-A76 processor.”

The Samsung GALAXY S10 could be a "monster" in performance if it really has this new 3 GHz processor, and from my point of view, the chances of this happening are very high. Those from Samsung have started to adopt Apple's strategies for the production of phones, and this is starting to cost them in terms of sales, so in the Samsung GALAXY S10 they have to offer important news to compensate for the losses in profit generated by the current series of Mobile Phones.
