iPhone X: RECORD for Second-Hand Sale Price

iPhone X registers record values for the second-hand sale price, the product of the Apple company being very valuable for customers, even if it has been used.

iPhone X RECORD Second-Hand Sale Price

iPhone X sets a record in terms of resale price, or second-hand sale, the Apple phone being surprisingly expensive, even if it is used. We are talking here about prices recorded in the USA, where a used iPhone X is sold at 85% of the price paid by the user when he bought it, and this more than 8 months after it was launched worldwide by Apple .

iPhone X sold for 850 dollars, after being used for a period of time, is much more valuable than the models released in the past by the Apple company, the difference being given by the popularity of the phone in the USA. According to the data, including the companies that buy phones from users through the buy-back system, they end up offering even 75% of the "new" value of the phone, something that was impossible to imagine in the case of models launched in past years.

iPhone X: RECORD for Second-Hand Sale Price

iPhone X is very successful in the USA, where the resale prices remain at a surprisingly high value, but in Romania the situation is completely different, the prices being much lower. In Romania, a used iPhone X ends up costing somewhere between 3700 - 4200 LEI, but in the case of the first price, you must be extremely careful when buying, because the difference compared to the launch price is very large, and the chances that that phone will either a clone are very large.

"Normally, within six months after an iPhone launch, retailers and manufacturers can expect to sell that model at 60 to 70% of original retail value (this is typical through a B2B secondary channel, like the one B-Stock offers). The iPhone 6, 6s, 7, and 8 all achieved roughly 65% of retail value six months after launch across our network of mobile marketplaces. Currently, we are seeing the iPhone X bucking those trends: across our mobile marketplaces, the iPhone X is selling at 75% of original retail value (for Grade A/fully functional condition).”

The iPhone X was launched by the Apple company as a very expensive phone, and the resale price in the USA is a clear sign of the fact that there is still a lot of interest in this American phone model. Of course, no one knows what the resale price situation is for the iPhone X in other areas of the world, but I wouldn't have high hopes that the resale value would be that good, including in other regions.
